Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum

As one of the few remaining buildings left standing after the blast of the atomic bomb, the dome, a registered World Heritage Site, stands as a symbol to the world to seek peace and the complete abolishment of nuclear weapons.
The personal items of those who died in the blast around Peace Memorial Park, and the photographs and materials depicting the horrible scenes in the wake of the bombing displayed in the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum.
There are an information center, the monuments to those who died in the blast and the Children’s Peace Monument all serve as a reminder of the horrors of war and the need for enduring world peace.
