Shukkeien Garden

Originally constructed as a Villagarden for Nagaakira Asano, ruling Daimyo of the time, it is said to have been modeled after Lake Xihu (West Lake) in Hangzhou, China.
The pond in the middle of the garden is dotted with islands of various sizes and a walking path will take you around the garden offering views of surrounding mountains and gorge.
